Heavy curtains can place different demands on the supports from lightweight fabric. Include product weight information rather than only the window width. The rod span and manufacturer bracket spacing also matter when deciding whether the intended arrangement is suitable.
Long rods or tracks may require a specific support layout. Provide the manufacturer instructions and desired width. Omitting an intermediate bracket to improve the appearance is not appropriate when the product relies on it for support under normal use.
The service covers suitable mechanical fittings for non-powered products. Motor wiring and electrical alterations are excluded. Altering the building to create support or modifying an unsuitable curtain system should not be assumed to form part of a standard rod installation.
The agreed service covers non-powered rods/tracks, compatible brackets, positioning and operation checks. Exclusions: Electrical motors/wiring, unsuitable substrates, unassessed cord hazards, unsupported high access.
