Describe where movement stops and whether the drawer sits unevenly. Overfilling, runner damage and a distorted box can feel similar in use. Avoid forcing it closed; a wider photograph can reveal the relationship between the drawer front and surrounding cabinet.
A loose drawer front can involve its connecting hardware or the material around the fixing. Show both the front and accessible attachment points. Repeatedly tightening a screw into damaged material may not provide the support needed for normal use.
An uneven gap may result from loose runner fixings, a detached front or movement in the cabinet itself. Show neighbouring drawers as well as the fault. Adjustment is useful only when the parts and the material supporting them remain suitable.
The agreed service covers suitable furniture drawer fixings, fronts, compatible runners and minor non-structural joinery. Exclusions: Cabinet door hinges (existing Cabinet Repair), appliance-integrated systems, plumbing, major built-in alteration, bespoke manufacture.
