New patches can absorb paint differently from older surrounding areas. Show repaired spots so suitable preparation can be considered. Painting does not automatically include every plaster repair, and the need for sealing or further finishing should be identified before the coating stage.
Show lights, fans and other fixed items before the visit. Ordinary protection and cutting around them is different from disconnecting or moving electrical equipment. Any fixture work requiring a licensed trade must be arranged separately rather than assumed within the ceiling quote.
Windows and directional light can make existing ceiling texture or repair edges more visible. Include a photograph in ordinary room lighting. A repaint can improve a sound surface but should not promise to remove underlying unevenness or make every previous repair invisible.
Protect the room and fixed fixtures, prepare the accepted sound surface and paint the agreed ceiling plane in suitable stages. Scope limits: Ordinary dry stable accessible ceilings only. No electrical fixture work, leak diagnosis, sagging ceilings, high-access specialist work or hazardous materials.
