Outdoor application depends on suitable weather and timber condition. Shade and exposure can affect drying differently along a run. Scheduling should allow the selected product’s requirements rather than promise that every fence can be coated on a fixed date regardless of conditions.
Loose, rotten or broken timber needs separate repair consideration. Paint does not restore support or stabilise a leaning fence. Show defects before the quote so ordinary painting can be distinguished from paling, post or gate work that needs its own scope.
Provide the old product if known and show flaking or glossy areas. The new system must suit the existing sound surface after appropriate preparation. Unknown hazardous coatings are excluded, and wholesale stripping should not be assumed inside a routine fence repaint.
Prepare and coat the accepted accessible timber faces using a suitable agreed fence-paint system and ordinary controlled application. Scope limits: Sound accessible timber and authorised faces only. No structural stabilisation, hazardous stripping, assumed neighbour access or uncontrolled spray work.
